Izakaya Nyc

Izakaya is a hole-in-the-wall Izakaya restaurant in the East Village. Hard to locate from the outside as a tree blocks the restaurant from both angles and there is just a small sign next to the door signifying, you’re at the right location. However, because of the lack of walk-in guests, and mostly filled with people who have known the place already or made reservations, the exclusivity at an Izakaya is something you don’t find very often. The food here are mainly small plates/tapas dishes to share amongst a group. Pair your dinner with a bottle of sake and you’ve ready to go. They change their menu quite often to match their menu with seasonal items.
